Great News and a boost for Ipoh logistics Industry. Ipoh , Perak state capital, located approximately 235km away from Kuala Lumpur International Airport and 165km away from Penang Airport . These current 2 airports servicing air cargo movement from Ipoh.
Although it limited currently only for Ipoh to Singapore , it is beneficial for farm traders from Cameron Highlands , the aquaculture and others producer within the economical areas.
The all cargo airline , Asialink Cargo Express ( ACE ) is expected to schedule fly into Ipoh's Sultan Azlan Shah Airport by 16th June 2010 with frequency of 2 flights per week on Wednesday and Friday. Aircraft type Fokker F27-500 with estimated payload of 6 tons.
